What an exciting time

Don't you just love it when you get a lovely unexpected surprise in your day?
When that surprise involves the papercrafting you adore then it is even more awesome.
That's exactly what happened to me today. I finally got around to opening the Christmas issue of Scrapbook Creations magazine, that had been sitting patiently in its plastic bag, on my desk for almost a week.

And not only did I find that my Christmas This n That planner project was on the cover and they had dedicated 6 pages to it, and my Christmas card set was featured in a lovely spread; but surprise, surprise they had also featured my blog in their blog a sphere. What a lovely surprise. Thank you editor Ellen Harvey.

My husband has been teasing me all day saying it was like the Donna show and I was a little embarrassed but it was a real thrill.

Here is a little peek at some of the pages featuring my Christmas planner, but there are so many awesome projects by so many talented artists packed into this issue that you are going to want to get your hands on your own copy.

BTW I loved making the journal so much that I have created some cheery Christmas tags in the same style which I will be sharing with you in the next day or two.

And remember if you want to create your own Christmas Planner you can order your own This n That journal and the coordinating washi tape, rotary stamp and accessories from me. Simply call (02) 4758 8796 or visit my Stampin' Up! on line ordering site by clicking on the 'Place an Order' tab at the top of the page.
Call me and I'd be happy to help get you started, but don't delay because Christmas will be here before we know it.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

I don't know about you but Christmas seems to have taken over my every waking moment!
As I write this it is only 6 weeks away and I have all kinds of Christmas projects underway. My Christmas card classes are in full swing. (Last card class is Sunday 8th December just in time for them to be posted and on there way in time for Christmas day. Spaces are limited so please call (02) 4758 8796 to reserve a place and ensure a kit is prepared for you. Bring a friend who hasn't attended before to each receive a free gift!)
These are the cards we made in our last card class.

These are the cards we will be making in December.
To find out details or to book a space call (02) 4758 8796.

I'm also working on a a set of yummy gift tags as a  guest blog project for Scrapbook Creations magazine and I'm planning this year's gift wrapping theme. Oh and the big one at this time of year, I'm hand making a mass of Christmas cards for family and friends. I usually make a batch of about 70 cards for those on my Christmas card list (you know who you are) and they all assure me the cards are kept and not thrown away, in fact they know the instant one of my Christmas cards hit the garbage bin my creative heart will know and they will be struck off my Christmas list, lol. Not quite , but most of the recipients know and understand the work that goes into my cards and loyally hold onto them, at least for a while.

All that, along with life's ordinary tasks, might be enough to push one over the edge except that earlier in the year I was honoured to create a Christmas planner for Scrapbook Creations and it is paying off now by keeping me on track with my tasks.
If you would like to make your own planner call me and I can order the This n That journal and other supplies for you as well as offer lots of hints and tips to make your journal super creative as well as ultimately useful.

Till next time happy Creating (and no I'm not going to say Merry Christmas just yet, after all there is still 6 and a bit weeks to go).
